ZenPals provides a veterinary telehealth platform connecting pet owners with licensed veterinarians for virtual consultations. Our Service is intended to supplement, not replace, in-person veterinary care.
2. Description of Service
ZenPals provides:
- Virtual video consultations with licensed veterinarians
- AI-powered symptom assessment tools (for informational purposes only)
- Pet health record management
- Medication reminders and tracking
- Secure messaging with veterinary professionals
Important: ZenPals is not intended for emergency veterinary care. If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please contact your local emergency veterinary clinic immediately.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Veterinary Services Disclaimer
The veterinary services provided through ZenPals are delivered by independently licensed veterinarians. ZenPals does not practice veterinary medicine and does not provide veterinary advice directly.
Telehealth consultations have limitations. Veterinarians may not be able to fully diagnose or treat all conditions remotely and may recommend in-person examination when necessary.
By using our Service, you acknowledge that:
- Telehealth is not a substitute for in-person veterinary examination
- Certain conditions require hands-on diagnosis and treatment
- You are responsible for following up with local veterinary care when recommended
5. Payment Terms
Consultation fees are displayed before booking and are non-refundable except as required by law or as specified in our refund policy. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processor (Stripe).
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We comply with applicable healthcare privacy regulations, including HIPAA where applicable.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by ZenPals and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZenPals and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
